Storage & Potency
Guide

Proper storage preserves compound stability and potency over time.

01    How to Store Your Peptides

     Refrigerator Shelf

Peptides should be stored on the refrigerator shelf to maintain potency.

     Avoid the Door

Do not store them in the door, as this leads to repeated temperature fluctuations.

     Protection

Protect vials from light and heat, and avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

02    Expected Shelf Life

Form

Storage Life

Powdered Form

2 years if stored in the freezer. Can stay at room temperature for weeks with minimal degradation.

Liquid Form (Reconstituted)

3–6 months if stored properly in the refrigerator. Can remain stable for up to 7 days without refrigeration.

Note: If left out, the main effect is a gradual decrease in potency. Return the vial to refrigerated storage as soon as possible.

03    Vial Appearance & Duration

1          Fill Level

All peptides come in 4mL vials. Most will look less than halfway full, which is how they are supposed to look.

2         The mg Value

The mg value on the bottle indicates the actual amount of peptide, regardless of the liquid volume.

3         Vial Life

Vial contents are fixed by the labeled quantity. How long a vial lasts depends entirely on the requirements of your research protocol.

Variations

Usage rates differ by compound and by research protocol, so duration will vary. Minor variations in duration due to syringe measurements are normal.
