Peptide Reconstitution
Guide
This guide is designed to help you reconstitute powdered peptide vials
01 Materials Needed
02 The Reconstitution Process
Follow these steps carefully to preserve the potency of the compounds:
1 Clean your area
Wash your hands thoroughly and sanitize your workspace before handling any vials or syringes.
2 Prepare the vials
Pop off the plastic caps from both the peptide vial and the bacteriostatic water vial.
3 Sanitize
Wipe the rubber tops of both vials with a fresh alcohol wipe and allow to air dry briefly.
4 Draw the water
Insert the needle into the bacteriostatic water vial and draw out the exact amount required by your Reconstitution Chart.
5 Add to peptide — angle the needle
Insert the needle into the peptide vial at a slight angle. This allows the water to spray against the glass wall rather than directly onto the powder, which minimizes bubbling.
6 Slowly inject
Gently push the plunger down to add the water to the powder. Do not rush this step
7 Dissolve — do not shake
Gently swirl the vial until the powder is completely dissolved. Shaking the vial can damage the fragile peptide chains.
03 Balancing the Pressures
Proper pressure balance is essential for an accurate draw. When reconstituting a vial, follow this method before removing the syringe:
1 Equalize naturally
Before removing the needle from the newly mixed vial, gently lift the needle so it is above the liquid but still inside the vial under the rubber stopper.
2 Release the plunger
Allow the plunger to rise naturally. It should move to match the amount of liquid you just added, equalizing the internal pressure. Do not force it in any direction.
3 Remove safely
Once the plunger stops moving, carefully remove and dispose of the syringe. Your vial is now pressure-balanced.
04 Storage & Potency Tips
Guideline
Detail
Immediate Refrigeration
Store your peptide in the refrigerator immediately after reconstitution. Do not leave reconstituted vials at room temperature.
Correct Placement
Keep vials on a shelf rather than the refrigerator door to avoid temperature fluctuations caused by frequent opening.
Potency Window
Reconstituted liquid peptides generally remain effective for 3 to 6 months when stored properly in the refrigerator - store on the shelf, not the door.
Powder Life
Lyophilized (powdered) peptides maintain full potency for up to 2 years prior to reconstitution when frozen.
Pro Tip
Your vial may appear less than halfway full once the liquid is added. This is completely normal. The mg value printed on the label confirms the full amount of compound is present — the visible volume does not reflect the labeled concentration.
