Melanotan 2 (10mg)
After entering the bloodstream, it binds to melanocytes—specialized skin cells in the basal layer of the epidermis—stimulating them to produce and release more melanin. This leads to gradual skin darkening over time, mimicking the effects of a sun-induced tan without significant UV exposure.
Additionally, MT-II binds to other melanocortin receptors like MC3R and MC4R, which are involved in appetite regulation, metabolism, and sexual function. These off-target interactions help explain some of the peptide’s secondary effects, such as libido enhancement and appetite suppression.
